Our global network allows you to send money to eleven (11) countries. These countries are listed below. The delivery/collection method available to you (e.g., bank deposit, cash pickup, wallet) depends on the country where the recipient resides

HOW DO I SIGNUP?

It’s easy — download the Fleap Finance mobile app on your phone from your play store or app store, follow the few simple steps that follow: 

  1. Click on Get Started
  2. Enter your mobile number 
  3. After entering your number, you will receive a 4-digit code on your mobile phone which you are to input in the Fleap app 
  4. Create your 6-digit secret pin
  5. You can choose to enable your Biometrics or skip the process for now
  6. Let’s get to know you a bit by entering your first name and last name, and your email address.
  7. Finally, agree to Fleap’s terms and conditions and the choice is yours to dive in directly to the app by clicking on “Next”.

Transfer online with Fleap

HOW DO I TRANSFER MONEY?

You can make use of the ‘Transfer online’ on the home page to send funds directly to someone you trust using your Bank Transfer or Bank deposit payment options.  

  • Click on Transfer online >  
  • Select the recipient’s country>  
  • Select your preferred payment method (Bank transfer or Bank card) >  
  • Enter transfer details (this shows amount to be sent in USD and amount recipient receives in local currency as well as Estimated Payment calculator) >  
  • As a first-time user, the app would prompt you to complete a short KYC (date of birth, address, verify your email, select state, city, postal code and gender)> 
  • Add recipient’s contact details > select delivery method >  
  • Enter recipient’s account details >  
  • Choose a payment description > Click Pay >  
  • Add your Bank details and follow payment instructions to complete payment.
HOW MUCH CAN I SEND?

The maximum amount of money you can send is $500 daily and $1,500 monthly. However, your transfer limitautomatically increases after 3 months and up to $3000 after 6 months of getting your email registered and verified on the Fleap app.  

DO I NEED A DEBIT/CREDIT CARD TO SEND MONEY?

Yes, you need either your debit or credit card to make transactions on our platform. We accept Master and Visa cards. 

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR THE MONEY TO GET DELIVERED?

We aim to complete transfers within minutes, but some transfers may take longer depending on how the money is being sent. 

Being as affordable as possible is our aim and so depending on your recipient’s country, Fleap charges between $0.99 and $4.99 as transaction fee. Please note that you would also be charged a bank transfer fee that varies per bank. Total transaction charges will be visible on the app calculator before you proceed with payment. 

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TRANSACTION AMOUNT?

There is no minimum transfer amount.  

The maximum amount you can transfer is $500 daily for the first 15days of your transacting on Fleap after which your limit gets increased to $1000 daily and up to $3000 after 6 months. 

HOW MUCH DO I GET CHARGED AS A TRANSACTION FEE?

Being as affordable as possible is our aim and so we charge a low transaction fee $1.00. Please note that you would also be charged a bank transfer fee that varies per bank. Total transaction charges will be visible on the app calculator before you proceed with payment. 

HOW WILL MY FRIENDS OR RELATIVES RECEIVE THE MONEY?

Payment can be received into receiver’s bank account if you select bank payment, wallet account if you select wallet option and cash pick up at available at cash locations in the recipient’s country.  

Also note that this is dependent on the receiving country and the payment options available.

WHAT DETAILS AM I REQUIRED TO FILL FOR MY RECIPIENT?

To send money to a friend or family member, you would need to fill their first name, last name, state, city, phone number, sender relationship and select your recipient’s preferred delivery method that is available for their country.

I NEED HELP WITH INVESTMENT OPTIONS

Fleap offers investment options in Real estate and fixed income. Signup on the Fleap app today and fill short questions that helps us access your risk level and you would be given investment options fit for you. 

HOW DO I INVEST?

This requires just a few steps. 

  1. From your mobile app, click on the “Invest now” button on the landing page, and click on the “Start Investing” 
  2. You would be asked to select your knowledge of investment as a beginner, an intermediate or expert investor. 
  3. A range of your annual income and status of employment would be required so that the right investment options can be provided to you. 
  4. Both fixed investment and real estate will be available to choose from for your first Fleap investment experience. 
  5. Once you choose whichever option to start with, you will have the option to input the amount /unit you’d like to invest, Investment frequency for fixed income, Investment tenure, and the start date of the investment. You should be able to see what you should expect as a return on investment based on the investment tenure on this page. 
  6. All done! The next page will require you to fill basic verification details and input your payment method.  

Upon completing these steps, you will get a congratulatory message that your payment is successful and that you’ve invested a certain amount for a certain period. 

WHY SHOULD I INVEST?

Cash left uninvested in your account will earn little or no interest rate per annum. Investment is a better way to protect your money from inflation and devaluation because the interest rate on our app is high and competitive

WHICH SECTOR SHOULD I INVEST IN?

Fleap offers competitive USD real estate investments and fixed income in “Advancly dollars” with very good returns on investment (ROI). 

HOW DOES INVESTMENT WORK/HOW DO I DETERMINE WHAT MY RETURNS LOOK LIKE?

Here’s how it works. The more money you invest, the bigger the return on your investment gets. Also, the tenure of your investment can also determine the return on your investment.  

The longer you invest, the higher your Return on Investment.

HOW DOES INVESTMENT WORK/HOW DO I DETERMINE WHAT MY RETURNS LOOK LIKE?

No need to worry, Fleap helps with narrowing down the best sector for you based on your risk evaluation and yearly income assessment carried out when you selected the “invest now” button. 

CAN I HAVE MULTIPLE INVESTMENTS ON FLEAP?

Yes, you can have multiple investments on Fleap with their different maturity dates available on your Active investment portfolio. 

HOW PROFITABLE IS INVESTMENT?

If you are one who wishes to support family/relatives back home but has a low income, Investment on the Fleap platform is the ideal option for you. With the return on your investment, you can provide financial assistance to your loved ones back home, and still save your investment capital.

WHAT IS THE INVESTMENT CHARGE?

Good news! Fleap does not charge you for investment. Please note that you would, however, be charged a bank transfer fee that varies per bank. Total transaction charges will be visible on the app calculator before you proceed with payment. 

HOW DOES THE INTEREST ON FLEAP WALLET WORK?

Once your investment has yielded returns (interest), you can decide to transfer the interest to your loved ones back home, or you can choose to re-invest with it. There’s also an option for you to cash your money once the investment tenure is over. 

IS THERE A MINIMUM AMOUNT TO START INVESTMENT WITH?

The minimum amount you can invest with for real estate is $10.00 and $500 for fixed income, giving you the chance to start small as you gain confidence and trust investing with us. 

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT I CAN USE ON AN INVESTMENT?

Fixed Income– for our fixed income investment, the maximum amount you can invest is $100,000. 

Real Estate for real estate, the maximum available token is at a token cost of $10.00 or 15%. per unit depending on the building. 

WHEN IS THE PERFECT TIME TO INVEST?

Why wait when you could invest now? There’s no perfect time to invest than now! 

HOW DO I VIEW MY ACTIVE INVESTMENT PORTFOLIO?

A summary of your active investment(s) is available on the home page. However, to have a detailed view of your active investments, click on “Investment” on the lower side of the app or click on “Invest now” > select Active Investment to check your current portfolio> click between fixed income and Estate if you have both portfolios active. 

Schedule a Transfer with Fleap

HOW DOES SCHEDULing WORK?

Simple! Schedule is a stress-free option on the metal app that allows you to preset a recurring transaction on your app. By using the schedule, you would be able to set the time of the month that you want this transaction to start counting, how often you want to be debited (could be monthly, quarterly, or yearly) and a terminal date for the scheduled transaction. This way, you don’t have to remember to send money to that loved one as Fleap does it for you.

HOW DO I SCHEDULE A TRANSFER? 

Just a few easy steps:

  1. Click on schedule on the home page or click on investment and select schedule a transfer 
  2. Input the transfer details by entering the amount you want to send, or the amount recipient gets (this calculates the exchange rate and total charges by default) 
  3. The next page allows you to set a start date, frequency, and End date for the scheduled transfer. 
  4. Add and save the details of the beneficiary or select an already saved beneficiary. 
  5. Enter beneficiary’s account details or wallet number or cash pickup location depending on the available option is beneficiary’s country. 
  6. Finally, select a description for payment and add your payment method (bank card or transfer). 
CAN I CANCEL/DELETE A SCHEDULED TRANSFER?

Yes, you can by following the few simple steps below; 

  1. On your Fleap home page, the list of your upcoming schedule would be showing, click on “See all” for a clearer view. 
  2. Select the scheduled payment you want to delete. 
  3. Click on the “Delete” button and you will get a pop up confirming if you want to proceed as it would be permanently deleted. 
  4. Confirm and you’re done. 
CAN I EDIT A SCHEDULED TRANSFER?

Yes, you can “Edit” the amount, start date, frequency, and end date of a scheduled transaction by following the few simple steps below; 

  1. On your Fleap home page, the list of your upcoming schedule would be showing, click on “See all” for a clearer view. 
  2. Select the scheduled payment you want to edit. 
  3. Click on the “Edit” button and you will be referred to the transfer details page where you can update the details. 
  4. Update the description and proceed to make payment using your bank card or transfer method of payment. 

Locate cash agent on Fleap

HOW DOES LOCATE AGENT WORK ON THE FLEAP APP?

Locate agent is a convenient feature on the Fleap app that saves you the stress of having to enter your bank card details if you do not have one and allows you to seek the help of an agent near you to send money to your loved ones today. 

HOW DO I LOCATE AN AGENT ON FLEAP APP?
  1. Click on “Locate cash agent” on the home page. 
  2. Accept the “disclaimer” to proceed. 
  3. Select the location you would like to find the agent on the map. 
  4.  A list of agents near you (money gram, western union) would be made available to you to choose from for convenience. 
  5. Click on your preferred agent to view address and contact details. 

Common Problems

I’M HAVING TROUBLE ENROLLING ON FLEAP

If you are unable to register your debit/credit card, please contact customer service by sending an email (with a screenshot of the problem/issue page) to wecare@fleap.finance or chat us now via your mobile app chat or directly from the website (https://fleap.finance). Our customer advocate team are eager and ready to assist

I AM UNABLE TO PROCESS PAYMENT
  1. Ensure you have completed your KYC status and your email address is verified (if you are having issues verifying your email do reach out to customer advocate team). 
  2. Ensure that your profile (name, email address) registered on Fleap app matches your card details (this is a security measure so that no one else uses your card). 
MY MONEY IS TAKING LONGER TO PROCESS THAN I EXPECTED

If payment does not get received within the specified time given, there are several reasons that may be responsible. To help solve the issue, please follow these steps: 

Check that your payment details have been entered correctly, such as:  

The correct card number, expiry dates and security codes. 

Do also check that the name and email on your card matches that used to register on the Fleap app otherwise contact our customer advocate team with a profile update request, attaching supporting documents. 

If all details have been entered correctly, do contact our customer advocate team via email wecare@fleap.finance 

MY TRANSFER IS PENDING

After a pay-out is initiated the delivery status automatically goes to pending indicating that payment details are being verified and processed for pay-out. On completion of transaction, the status would be updated to “Processed’. 

I AM HAVING TROUBLE REGISTERING MY MOBILE NUMBER/EMAIL ADDRESS ON THE APP

There’s a couple of reasons you may not be able to register your mobile number: 

    • Your mobile number or email address is already registered on the app, and you may need to login to continue.

HOW DO I UPDATE MY NAME OR PERSONAL DETAILS ON THE APP?

To update your personal details, please send an email to wecare@fleap.finance with the information you want updated and supporting documents as proof of a change (this is required for security reasons and to protect your account). You, however, can upload/update your profile photo at any time by clicking on “Account” > “Change photo”. 

HOW DO I KNOW MY RECIPIENT RECEIVED THEIR FUNDS?

To ascertain that your recipient has received the funds, status of transaction will be updated on your app from “pending’ to ‘processed”. We will also keep you updated via email throughout the entire money transfer process, including when your recipient gets the money.  

CAN A SENDER TRACK A PAYMENT ON FLEAP?

Your reference number is used to track your transfer and is included in the email or receipt you receive from Fleap. If the recipient is receiving their transfer at a cash pickup location, they will need the reference number and a valid means of identification to collect their money. If you need more help, you can contact our customer advocate team. Details of transaction can be shared with your recipient via WhatsApp, email or any other available communication channel directly from the app. 

DO MY FRIENDS/RELATIVE HAVE TO VISIT A PHYSICAL BANK/CENTER TO CASH OUT/RECEIVE THE FUNDS?

The good news is that your friends do not have to visit any physical centre if they do not want. Payment can be received into their bank account if you select bank payment option on the app. However, for wallet and cash pick up selections, your recipient would be required to go to the pickup counter physically.  

MY CARD DETAILS DOESN’T SEEM TO BE WORKING

First, make sure that you are registered with a Visa or Mastercard (credit or debit card) tied to a bank account. Next, ensure that the information you are entering matches exactly the information on your card. This includes: 

  • Name as it appears on your debit card 
  • Debit card number 
  • Expiration date 
  • CVV number

Troubleshooting/ Security Recovery

HOW DO I CHANGE MY LOGIN PIN?

EASY! Go to “Account’’, scroll to “Settings”, select “Change Pin”, Enter your existing pin, create your new pin, Confirm the new pin and you’re done in few easy steps. 

I’M HAVING ISSUES WITH THE APP WHAT CAN I DO?

Check that you are using the latest version of the app – update whenever a latest version is available. Close the app and restart – see if the problem persists. There may be a temporary problem with our app. Take screenshots of what you are experiencing that might help us diagnose the problem and send them to our email wecare@fleap.finance, chat us directly on the app or from the website (https://fleap.finance). 

 

IF MY DEVICE GETS STOLEN, WOULD MY DETAILS BE SAFE?

Making sure your account is safe is our biggest priority. We are committed to protecting your account with the highest standards of security available. If, however, your device gets stolen, please contact our support immediately via email wecare@fleap.finance  

HOW SAFE IS HAVING MY CARD DETAILS ON THE APP?

Our website and apps are designed to prevent accounts from unauthorized login attemptsand transfer fraud. We have strict verification processes to ensure that we correctly identify every customer. We also have a team of dedicated analysts who monitor transactions for signs of unusual activity.  

I HAVE FORGOTTEN MY PIN

Not a problem! Select the “FORGOT PIN” on the login page, a code will be sent to your phone SMS which you are to enter on your app. Then you would be directed to a page to set a new pin and you’re done.
